• Welcome to the spatial multiomic database of the liver endothelial cells (L-EC)! For more details, please check our publication:
  • Inverso and Shi et al., A spatial vascular transcriptomic, proteomic, and phosphoproteomic atlas unveils an angiocrine Tie-Wnt signaling axis in the liver, Developmental Cell (2021)

  • This dataset is designed to allow non-bioinformatician researchers to explore the zonation of the liver vasculature on transcriptomic, proteomic and phosphoproteomic levels with their spatial coordinates along the sinusoid axis as the following zones: portal node (PN), peri-portal (PP), peri-central (PC) and central vein (CV).
  • Line plots allow parallel visualization of zonation profiles based on normalized values shown as Mean +/- SD for each zone.
  • Heatmaps further allow the visualization of each individual samples (4 replicates per zone), data normalized to each row max and samples labeled with their ENSEMBL IDs (for transcripts) or UniProt protein ID.
  • Quantitative expression values for individual samples are shown in transcripts per million (TPM) for RNA expression, label-free quantitation (LFQ) for protein and sample-to-spike ratio for phospho-site. Kruskal-Wallis (KW) test (differential expression among the four zones) and Center-of-Mass (CoM) (zonation score) are also included for a better understanding of the expression zonation.
